Mumzy Vale!
Mumzy Stranger has always been a contender. Of that there is no doubt. I remember watching him at the UK Asian Music Awards 2009 (his 1st big performance) and was really impressed by his live voice.
Unlike most of the other acts that night he was singing live, and was pitch perfect as well as powerful. It was with that in mind, as well as the release of his potential breakthrough single 'Fly Away' this October, that we decided it was about time for a Maida Vale session. I'm not entirely sure there's anything else this stripped down and live available anywhere else on the internet so enjoy, and hear that voice before it goes overground...
