The poverty yardstick

Graham Smith | 12:32 UK time, Saturday, 13 November 2010

Journos are always on a quest to find "real people" and case studies to illustrate complex stories, so I'm grateful to the generally excellent for directing my attention to the Redruth North ward, where (last year) 66% of children lived in households wholly dependent on benefits. The government's shake-up of the welfare system will clearly have a major impact on this part of Cornwall.

Give the alliance credit at least they are considering options to change this nulabour created comfortable sub class, 150 years ago not eating was considered hardship, now its not having the latest computer games, we must all be honest without jobs and the expected thousands about to be removed from the public it is very hard to condemn, again we need to look towards nulabour for spending all the money

Credit where Credit is due lets see what EDS can do.
