It's great to see you still commenting on F1 Murry. Whenever I think of F1 I hear your voice at the start of a race saying "and their off !" You are a legend and this video insight is as excellent as always. Thank you.

Great video as ever Murray! Not sure if you want questions now, but here's one anyway if you want it (it's a bit of an obvious question):

Do you think the penalty given to Schumacher was the correct decision? And do you think Damon Hill took it as an opportunity to get some revenge on his former rival?

I'm certainly not the biggest fan of schumacher, I'm mainly a mclaren fan, but I think it was just a ridiculous decision. He broke no rules whatsoever. If the race WAS ending under the safety car (which is what the stewards have said had happened), then even after the safety car went back into the pits there should have still been safety card boards out and yellow flags out. Neither of these were on display and the green flags were being waved which would seem to suggest that it was just a normal race restart, it just so happened that it was going to happen on the final lap.

I agree with Bernies Protege but it's all in the hands of Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú and I guess we should savour these Murray moments while they last!

Great round up Murray. The die has been cast in the great Monaco last corner overtake event. Guess what? A red car won the argument but this time without Micheal at the wheel.
I really feel for Damon on this because I'm sure despite all the intrigue he would of said as a racer he would of done the same.
Micheal has had me spitting venom in years gone past but this time I agree with his oportunistic move. Full marks to him.
Do drivers have to race with a rule book in their lap nowadays?
It should of been seen as a grey area and moved Micheal back to 7th to keep the racer spirit alive.

hi Murray, once again you tell it how it is, without any biased whatsoever, a rare thing these days, only you and Martin Brundle speak the truth in my opinion. I would once again like to echo other peoples call for you to return to the commentary box for one grand prix.... preferably the british grand prix pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease. this years a great year to come back don't you think?. We miss your commentary Murray :)

@5 I think Schumi just fell foul of badly written regulations, mixed in with a bit of common sense about not wanting to set a dangerous precedent. I think the FIA doesn't want to see potentially 23 drivers launching banzai overtaking moves on the last lap of a GP.

That said there should be a mechanism in the rules that allows them to not punish drivers for racing in the grey areas whilst still allowing the regulations to be improved. Retroactively punishing drivers simply because of bad regulations is a farce!

I've been watching Murray since the 70's - be it infamous RallyCross commentaries or F1 - and he is like comfort food to me, a real security blanket. Those dulcet tones and sometimes over enthusiasm make it, for me, just perfect and this latest wrap-up is beautifully done in a very satisfactory "Walkerish" way. May you live to be 150.

Schumacher - easy to see it is a borderline judgement case. But how can anyone justify the action based on the flags & boards *after* the 1st safety car line? Schumacher pounced within inches of the line - so it certainly wasn't a case of him having passed vast swathes of green flags. He wouldn't have passed a *single* flag because he was mentally making his move before he even rounded Rascasse.

Team Orders
I agree Murray, they'll always be there. And another example was in a different race, Le Mans, where Audi proudly gave a procession for over half an hour with three cars.
Murray my question: are the rules for Le Mans and F1 different re team orders? The FIA surely oversees both, so a question of consistency?
