Time for another weekly round up of web links and chat about life on-line. The podcast is ready when you are and it's stuffed full of interest as usual.

First of all we returned to Haiti. The clear up effort and charity work around the Capital is offering some hope of normality to many after the earthquake shattered many lives. Georgia Popplewell, managing director of went to Haiti shortly after the earthquake to see what the organisation could do to help. She also wrote amazing pieces for GV and .
Having returned home, she took a moment to tell me about the things she saw and why she believes new media tools and social interaction online can really help when it comes to crisis situations.

Something to put in your diary in the US and later this year in the UK. The unconference is coming up, running from February 12th to 13th in Long Beach CA. Even more excitingly they are going global alongside the conference in this Summer. Bill Erickson is one of the founders of BIL. He took us back to the origins and explained more about why this alternative is so appealing.

The second half of this week's Pods and Blogs took a brief look at accessibility. For openers I had a chat with world renowned accessibility expert and evangelist for Yahoo, . He told me more about the issues of web standards and getting accessibility sorted out on as many sites, leading to a better chance of equality.

New and social media should not be left out of the equation of course. Dennis Lembree makes the podcast about accessibility and has also created a Twitter reader that he says is 100% accessible.

Though accessibility should be incorporated into all websites, as usual on Pods and Blogs, it's the things you do that are really interesting. is a blind photographer. He described how a visual medium fors for him and how he presents his photographs on-line.
