Pods and Blogs Twitter account - phished.

Hello all,

I have some sorry news.

The Pods and Blogs Twitter account has been subject to a phishing attack. That means that I clicked on a link sent to me via DM and that in turn sent out direct messages (DMs) to all of our followers.

If you get a direct message that says "Is this you???" or "LOL Is this you?" and has a shortened link attached to it - here's what to do -

*Delete the message
*Reset your password

Do not click on the link or you will end up doing the same thing. If you click on the link then a spammer will take over your account and sent DMs to all of your friends too. If you get a message like this and delete it, your account should be fine. If you check your outgoing direct messages and you are sending them, then you need to delete them, let your friends know and change your password.

Changing your password from time to time is good practise also to keep your social networking accounts safe.

I hope that none of you have been inconvenienced by my mistake and that you don't do the same as me. I guess even those of use who spend all their spare time online are still occasionally taken in by the latest phishing and spamming attacks. So keep an eye on your accounts.
