   Cheers Eddie! Join me on the Beach later for some Limoncello? I'm not usually a fan of the liqueur, but the lemonyness of this one veers the taste away from sickliness. Now I'm not sure that sounds like too much of a selling point? but it is really delicious with an espresso on the side.
   It was well worth the effort I had to make to nestle it and the enormous container of e.v.c.p.olive oil from the oleifeico behind the hotel, in amongst the dirty washing in my suitcase. I discovered after I'd bought them that I couldn't take liquids home in my hand luggage. Still by the time I'd decanted all my shoes into the latter it all just about evened out.

   Although, on a slightly more serious note, I think I could probably have transported a small baby elephant through the extremely disinterested security gate at Milan Bergamo airport. Kind of makes a nonsense of all the extra precautions in the UK......

    As well as visiting the Olive Oil "factory"/museum, Kippenbod and I had a trip through the Lemon Museum, or Castle of Lemons as they prefer to call it! Then we visited a real castle in Malcesine, where there were 2 weddings going on - ve-ery romantic setting. One of the weddings was English, with all English guests, still at least they were assured of fabulous July weather!
