Here's our fortnightly look at what's coming up under the red button...
Don your wellies, unfurl your flags, festival
season is upon us! Once again Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Red Button will be heading to Somerset

catch-ups of highlights of most of the sets that the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú is filming, and
one stream dedicated to visualising 6 Music's coverage. The streams start
at 7pm on Friday, 4.20pm on Saturday and 5.30pm on Sunday and there is also
the opportunity to catch up on content during the following week.
In addition, viewers will be able to watch the sets of more than 40 artists, including all the headliners, via the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú website.
This year's line-up includes Neil Young, The Specials, Lily Allen, The Prodigy, Franz Ferdinand, Lady Gaga, Jarvis Cocker, Bruce Springsteen and Britpop torch-bearers Blur. For full details visit the Glastonbury website.

When we're coming up with designs for new products, our design team tend to come up with a couple of different options so that the team can sit down and discuss what works best.
And it was no different in the early days when the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú's red button pioneers were trying to work out what their new service would look like.
One idea was the very Ceefax inspired idea I wrote about recently. And with grateful thanks to the fact that no one has cleaned up our servers, I can show you one of the other options.
Taking a look at them, it's clear that they're the complete polar opposite to the very Ceefax based designs.
If you've ever used Freeview to hear the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú World Service you may have noticed the screen. It was blue, static, very blue and, er, blue. Did I mention it was blue?
Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú World Service - before and after
OK, it was a nice enough shade of blue but hardly a triumph of functional design or user interaction.

Here's our fortnightly look at what's coming up under the red button...
Nine months into the job and Blue Peter presenter Joel Defries
looks pretty comfortable in front of the camera - you might say he's a natural.
But how would he fare if asked to step over to the other side of the lens?
Well Red Button viewers are about to find out as he takes the reins of CÂ鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú's
flagship programme for the first time, directing his fellow presenters and
studio crew. This might just be Joel's toughest challenge yet.
Tuesday 16th - Sunday 21st June (daytime only)
Sky, Virgin & Freeview
(not available on Freesat)

A couple of years ago we moved offices, and as usually happens on such occasions, much time was spent clearing out cupboards and drawers that had, naturally, become full of stuff that everyone had forgotten about.
One cupboard contained folders and folders of meeting minutes from 1999. Another contained a draft continuity script for the . Elsewhere we found a box of Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Sport branded pencils.
My favourite find was a batch of A4 printouts which contained different brand name options for the service we now know as Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Red Button.
