I agree that this could be the 'thin end of the wedge'. But there are have always been adverts on S4C, much of whose programming, including the news, comes from the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú.
I concede that adverts don't appear within the Welsh Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú News, but they do often follow it straight after.
So this kind of thing has been going on for years, but the danger is it could be seen as the first 'nail in the coffin' of a publicly funded independent Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú.
