Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú seems much more able to dish it out than it is to take it. It deliberately skews the news by reporting it in ways that are unfavorable to for example, America, Israel, and even the current British government. It's been pointed out over and over again by many who post here but when someone like Jeremy Paxman uses his own media soapbox to blast Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú, Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú cries foul. I think its good for Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú to hear criticism of itself from different sources. Perhaps if it reads enough of it, it will sooner or later find a germ of truth in it somewhere and make some genuine improvements. Papering over as Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú has done recently is not what I call an improvement.
Regarding Mr Paxman's TV image: He must be solid- (if wholly self-opinionated,) gold! I think the TV moguls will do well to mop their customer-facing 'crocodile tears' if they seriously view his abrasiveness as a no-no! In a different cerebral league, Mr Clarkson is also not well starred in the universal appreciation stakes! But folk love-to-loathe strident media personalities, don't they?
