Blue Peter first aired on 16th October 1958. The show lasted for 15 minutes.
This week the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú celebrates 50 years of Blue Peter, with a special 50th birthday episode on Thursday 17th October 2008, (4pm, Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú1).

A documentary 'Blue Peter at 50' is repeated this Sunday, 19 October 2008 at 3.45pm on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú1.
