World Cup 2006 Blog

From our reporters in Germany

Which knockout games will be on the 麻豆官网首页入口?

We've had a few questions about our coverage going into the knockout phase of the tournament.
So I've got this from the boss, Roger, this morning:

All of England's remaining games are guaranteed to be on 麻豆官网首页入口 television, radio and broadband. In terms of the TV split with ITV: we have the Ecuador game and any England quarter-final to ourselves. An England semi-final or (getting carried away) final would be shown by both of us. We can stream on broadband all 麻豆官网首页入口 TV games - and Five Live has, of course, got the lot. As for all the remaining non-England games in the second round - we don't yet know which will be on the 麻豆官网首页入口 and which will be on ITV - but hope to soon and will let you know when we can.

We'll update our with the details when we have them.

Great news, I don't have to put up with ITV any longer for England games. All we need is for the team to perfom on the pitch now.

I`m still celebrating,
Why am i celebrating i hear you ask?
NO MORE ENGLAND GAMES ON ITV!
NO MORE CLIVE "THAT GLORIOUS NIGHT IN BARCELONA" TYLDSLEY.

On a separate issue i have to question why the 麻豆官网首页入口 decided to sub License all your games to UK TV G2 with Jonathan Ross`s Clone hosting the coverage?
And i know the 麻豆官网首页入口 runs UKTV G2 50/50 with Flextech.
PS
The 麻豆官网首页入口 Should cover
all World Cup matches even the one`s that are on itv via your Interactive feature and stick the dagger into itv`s coverage.
I certainly know which i would be watching.

Have the 麻豆官网首页入口 decided for Sunday's game if Ian Wright will be part of the pundit's line up? Maybe we should have Big Brother style vote which 3 pundits the 麻豆官网首页入口 audience want? Also which two commentators we want? Surely that would be true audience interaction?

p.s if the 麻豆官网首页入口 want to put the licence fee upto 拢180 and it means no more Ian Wright I'm quite happy with that.

麻豆官网首页入口 is doing a very good job as they are broadcasting the England matches in 麻豆官网首页入口 television, and also in their website and most important this blog that I enjoy more reading the inside news of the world cup through the articles. 麻豆官网首页入口 made the life easy as people can watch the England match staying in their workplace through their website in England and it could be great source of being with the football if people could watch the matches outside the England. I hope, 麻豆官网首页入口 will continue their job for the convenience of the fans.
