With more than three billion women in the world, Eve Ensler has a ready-made and long-running hit on her hands in the Vagina Monologues.
Of course the award-winning play also attracts men, but if the 15 October show at Warwick Arts Centre is any indication, men are not nearly as interested in tales and confessions from 'down there' as are the women of the world.

Perhaps men find it difficult to face a woman who speaks publicly from her vagina's point of view. Personally, my vagina wasn't bothered!
"If your vagina got dressed, what would it wear?" and
"If it could speak, what would it say?"
These are some of the questions the play's writer Eve Ensler asked of women to get her material.
The responses that she had revealed a collective inner world of feminine pride, confidence and humour that is rarely given centre stage.
Sitting in a theatre, hearing stories that speak directly of feminine experience, is a delight.
How often do you get the chance to glimpse into the private lives of women from around the world and see just how much we all have in common?
At heart, the Vagina Monologues is a celebration - a celebration of women. But there's more to it than that.

This is what makes the Vagina Monologues so good.
It explores deep inside the stories of women who have experienced shame, oppression and physical abuse, with the growing knowledge that the violence must stop.
Ensler has used the success of the Vagina Monologues to launch V-Day, a global movement to end violence against women and girls.
Follow the link on the left to the V-Day website to read more about the movement.
Some of the best moments in the show - wonderfully performed by Mina Anwar (pictured left), Jenny Eclair, and Miriam Margolyes.
Their talent skillfully balanced this political agenda with humour.
However, more of these insightful monologues and less on the phenomenon of the play itself would have been welcome.
The material Ensler collected speaks for itself.
But in the end, my vagina and me had a really good time!
