About This Event

Philosopher Mark Vernon joins 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio 3 New Generation Thinker Hetta Howes to discuss the healing power and significance of ecstatic states. Such seeking of loss of control is often written off in western culture as ignorant or delusional. But might it provide connection and meaning for those who, in a post-modern culture, do not have religion as a central part of their lives?

Booking is not required for this event. Entry is on a first-come-first-served basis. Doors open from 30 minutes before the event begins - latecomers will not be admitted. Capacity is limited: please collect a raffle ticket from the steward at the main entrance on Beit Quad to secure your place.
