As part of our weekend celebrating Human Planet join us for this free event at Kensington Gardens. With live music from around the world, a wide variety of workshops and exotic food for the whole family to enjoy.
Human Planet Stage
Experience live performances by international artists featured in Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú One’s Human Planet series.
Human Planet Workshops
There will be a range of workshops for all the family (recommended age 7+), inspired by music traditions from around the world, from poetry with Michael Rosen, to the opportunity to create vibrant headdresses and percussion instruments out of junk!
Please note: workshops are not ticketed but limited by capacity; queues may be likely for entrance into popular sessions

Proms Poetry tent:
Join Michael Rosen in our family poetry workshops for your chance to write your own proms inspired poetry. You might even want to enter the Proms Poetry Competition

Headdress making tent:
Join members of the ReachoutRCA scheme in making your own beautiful Samba headdress to wear at the finale carnival! Materials will be provided.

Junk Samba tent:
Join our team in making your own samba instruments and learning to play them. You'll also be able to take part in the finale carnival! Materials will be provided.

Please note that workshops are open to all the family with a recommended age of 7 upwards. All children must be chaperoned at all times be a parent or guardian. workshops are not ticketed but limited by capacity; queues may be likely for entrance into popular sessions. Workshops can be signed up for at the event from 1pm.
