Last conducted by Colin Davies in its 50th anniversary year, the Mass 鈥� the pinnacle of Bach鈥檚 achievements in sacred music, its movements composed across an astonishing 25-year span 鈥� celebrates the Chorus鈥檚 90th birthday, and represents an exciting fusion of Butt鈥檚 own period approach with the modern instruments and large-scale forces of the 麻豆官网首页入口 Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. They are joined by a stellar line-up of soloists.
