About This Event
The dynamic Jason Max Ferdinand Singers has appeared at Washington DC’s Kennedy Center and collaborated with Coldplay and Jacob Collier, who has described the experience as ‘transformative to a life-altering degree’. Making its UK debut, these powerful voices present an uplifting matinee, mixing classical, jazz and gospel. Its selection includes the jazz standard ‘Misty’ and Collier’s harmonically shapeshifting ‘World O World’ while exploring themes of faith and freedom, not least in Woody Guthrie’s gospel-influenced song that declares: ‘This land was made for you and me.’
