Practise pronunciation through music

In order to get accustomed to intonation and pronunciation, I've found a pleasant way of learning: listening to music all the time. The car, shower and kitchen become places of study. When you listen to songs in a foreign language, you easily recognise sounds and words ... you begin to sing and learn the words and pronunciation.

The Wise Guys are also worth checking out for German.

I like the German band Fotos. They had a song on a "Live life in another langauge advert", and that's what got me interested in German. Just look up 'Neon City live life in another language' on you tube to see what they sound like (: It gets you used to another language and if you print off the lyrics in both English and German, you'll learn new words without realising it.

Tokio Hotel Is Awesome! and great for learning some German from their songs. I learnt some phrases from their lyrics. Or just listen to Tokio Hotel because they are amazing.

Listen to Tokio Hotel! They are amazing! If we all listen to them they will finally get the credit they deserve in the UK.

Listen to Tokio Hotel if you want to learn German.
hey are the best band in the Wwhole world, and the best thing is: they have songs both in German and English and some have an English version... and there's another song that has a "Japanese-German" version... and when they did this version... the lead singer was only 15! *-*

Listen to 'Tokio Hotel' music. They sing in German and their songs are generally very easy to understand and remember. They have re-recorded lots of their German songs into English as well. This band is generally very popular with girls but boys like them too.

True. Like the way I learnt German was by listening to Tokio Hotel.

There's more to German music than Ramstein! Try Die Toten Hosen, Kettcar and Die Ärzte!

I really like the Mexican band, RBD, its pop but really great for pronunciation (especially the combinations). Also, try English speakers who have Spanish albums. I have Christina Aguilera's Mi Reflejo. That helps. Also, watch as many Spanish soap operas (telenovelas!); they are educational and amusing :)

Ja, bestimmt! - Yes, definitely - I listen to German music all the time (well, not ALL the time, but...) it's called Rammstein and I've memorised all their lyrics just by listening over and over again. And as my German gets better and better by the day, I figure out some new words and/or observe some grammatical patterns in their songs. Like if I learnt about some dative pronouns or stuff yesterday, today I might listen to German music and I'll recognise what I didn't recognise yesterday. does it make any sense?
