Bring your washing
Planning for a work trip abroad, where I would be staying in self catering accomodation, I rang my German colleague to find out if I needed to bring bed-linen. He was somewhat puzzled by my attempts to find out if I needed to bring °Âä²õ³¦³ó±ð for the bed. I later found out that I'd been asking if I needed to bring the 'washing' - °Âä²õ³¦³ó±ð!

In some contexts °Âä²õ³¦³ó±ð can mean 'underwear' as well, so no wonder your colleague was surprised!
