Watch the umlaut
Whilst staying with friends in Germany I was helping them get ready for a fondue party. I had, as asked, been peeling the very large bunch of grapes ready for dipping into one of the fondues when my friend looked into the kitchen to see how I was doing. It was sometime later when her laughter subsided that I realised I had misheard and instead of ²õ³¦³óä±ô±ð²Ô, to peel, I should just have put the grapes into a couple of Schalen, bowls.
