On a school exchange as a youngster I went with my exchange partner to a party 2km away, on foot. On returning my host mother asked me if I had gotten Blasen. Obviously as a teenager the first words the Germans tought me were slang, in which Blasen is oral sex, you should have seen my face when she asked! Turned out, ten confused minutes of disbelief later that Blasen also means blisters! Oh the fun!
