Will Young and the Courteeners will perform with the 麻豆官网首页入口 Philharmonic in a unique event in celebration of 麻豆官网首页入口 Music Day, introduced by 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio 5 Live host Eleanor Oldroyd.
Exploring the common ground between music and sport, the programme will also feature Olympic gold medal-winning diver Chris Mears and Team GB long-jumper and The Voice contestant Jazmin Sawyers, who have started musical careers alongside their sporting triumphs. Jaz is a talented singer as well as one of Team GB’s most promising stars, and Chris is a keen DJ and record producer in addition to his love of synchronised diving.
The programme will feature top class musical performances, conversation and plenty of musical surprises.
The ballot for tickets has now closed but you can listen to the performance on Radio 5 Live at 12:30pm on Thursday 8 June.
