Kid on the factory floor by Ann Colton

The moaning heave of the production line shadowed his tired limbs,
overloading the initial manhood steps
void of parental warmth or blood bonds
who overlook mishaps.
Clouds gather leaving a chill as
optimistic petals bow in reflection, awaiting sun light.
Kid on the factory floor
swimming with unsolved mysteries.
