In White Lion Yard, off Church Street, you will
find a fascinating collection of old buildings - one even dates
back to Tudor times.
The neglected Yard was restored after a rock-fall
in 1994.
On the right there's some small caves, believed to have been used
as beer cellars, which have been converted into a visitor attraction.
The Caves are attended by volunteers from the Old Mansfield Society
and are open Thurs-Fri 1pm-4pm and Saturdays 10am-4pm. It's
free to visit.
