'Bradmobile' hits the road for UK City of Culture 2025

Look out for the 麻豆官网首页入口's brand-new, colourful broadcast vehicle, designed by a Bradford artist to mark the UK City of Culture 2025.

The 麻豆官网首页入口's brand-new, colourful broadcast vehicle to mark Bradford UK City of Culture 2025 has hit the road. Radio Leeds staff are starting to use the "Bradmobile" for live outside broadcasts across the city including on the Gayle Lofthouse and Toby Foster shows.

You can't miss the eye-catching wrap on the vehicle which was designed by Bradford artist Ben Holden aka BJ the Bear. "I just had fun with it, I got the paints out and went mad," Ben says.

If you look closely, you can see the van champions well-known Bradford landmarks and things associated with the city including the Bradford boar.

This builds on a legacy of work from Coventry UK City of Culture 2021, when 麻豆官网首页入口 CWR and its listeners created the 2Tone Taxi.

The vehicle will be available for network colleagues to use throughout the year, and a handy QR code on its side panel links you to the 麻豆官网首页入口’s City of Culture website for Bradford.

Senior Head of Production for Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, Katrina Bunker said: "The 麻豆官网首页入口's partnership with Bradford 2025 is a great opportunity to show the people and communities of Bradford that the 麻豆官网首页入口 cares about representing them, that we are right there with them and we don’t just show up when something bad is happening - we are there to celebrate with them too."
