6 Music Festival 2021: How to watch + listen
6 Music Festival 2021 will bring the pure joy of live music to the very comfort of your homes, with new performances this year as well as classic sets from festivals gone by.
But how do you enjoy all that is on offer? Find out seven ways to watch and listen to all of the action...
1. On Sounds
Immerse yourself in the sounds of 6 Music Festival, with brand new performances, plus classic sets, available in full on the 麻豆官网首页入口 Sounds app and website.
The new performances for 2021, available on Sounds from Friday 26th March, include: Michael Kiwanuka, Laura Marling, Bicep, Shame, Dry Cleaning, Black Country, New Road, Poppy Ajudha, Working Men's Club, and Nubya Garcia.
From Monday 22nd March, you will also be able to enjoy standout sets from past festivals. These include: Anna Calvi (Liverpool 2019), Bonobo (Glasgow, 2017), Brittany Howard (Camden, 2020), Depeche Mode (Glasgow, 2017), Foals (Bristol, 2016), Goldfrapp (Glasgow, 2017), James Blake (Manchester, 2014), Kelis (Manchester, 2014), Little Simz (Liverpool, 2019), Loyle Carner (Glasgow, 2017), Róisín Murphy (Camden, 2020), Savages (Bristol, 2016), Sleater-Kinney (Tyneside, 2015), The Fall (Tyneside, 2015), The National (Manchester, 2014), Thundercat (Glasgow, 2017), Underworld (Bristol, 2016) and Young Fathers (Tyneside, 2015).
All performances will be available to hear for 30 days after release.
2. On iPlayer
If you want to see all the 6 Music Festival performances in their full glory, then 麻豆官网首页入口 iPlayer is the place for you.
There will be new full sets, recorded at the Alexandra Palace Theatre, from Michael Kiwanuka, Laura Marling and Bicep, while full sets recorded at the 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio Theatre include performances by Poppy Ajudha, Dry Cleaning, Shame, Working Men's Club, Nubya Garcia, and Black Country, New Road.
As with 麻豆官网首页入口 Sounds, there's also the chance to relive some classic 6 Music Festival performances from the likes of Brittany Howard, Anna Calvi, Savages, Goldfrapp, Thundercat, plus many more.
All performances will be available for 30 days after release.
麻豆官网首页入口 iPlayer will also present an eight hour stream of back to back new and classic sets from 2pm to 10pm on Sunday 28th March, including performances from Laura Marling, Nubya Garcia, Dry Cleaning, Poppy Ajudha, Loyle Carner, Black Country, New Road, shame, Working Men's Club, Michael Kiwanuka, Depeche Mode, Bicep and Róisín Murphy.

If you want to enjoy 6 Music Festival with some of your favourite 6 Music DJs and presenters, then listen to the on air coverage over the course of the weekend.
You’ll be able to hear interviews and performance highlights from Working Men’s Club on Lauren Laverne (Friday 26th March, 7.30am-10.30am), Poppy Ajudha on Mary Anne Hobbs (Friday 26th March, 10.30am-1pm) Black Country, New Road on Shaun Keaveny (Friday 26th March, 1pm-4pm), Shame and Michael Kiwanuka on Steve Lamacq (Friday 26th March, 4pm-7pm), Dry Cleaning on Iggy Confidential (Friday 26th March, 7pm-9pm), Bicep on Tom Ravenscroft (Friday 26th March, 9pm-12am), Nubya Garcia on Gilles Peterson (Saturday 27th March, 3pm-6pm) and Laura Marling on Radcliffe and Maconie (Sunday 28th March, 7am-10am).
As well as this, we’ll have Laura Marling in conversation with Matt Everitt in a 6 Music Festival special of The First Time With… (Sunday 28th March, 1pm-2pm), while Now Playing @6Music (Sunday 28th March, 6pm-8pm) puts the focus on Depeche Mode’s 2017 6 Music Festival set in Glasgow.
That’s not all - 6 Music presenters will also be reliving memorable moments from festivals past and playing a host of classic live tracks.

If you want a bit of 6 Music Festival 2021 on your telly, then tune in to 麻豆官网首页入口 Four from 11pm on Friday 26th March. 6 Music's own Cerys Matthews will present live performances the festival, including highlights of Michael Kiwanuka, Laura Marling and Bicep's sets. Cerys also speaks to Michael and Laura about being able to finally perform in a live venue after 12 months of restrictions, albeit without an audience this year.

From Saturday 27th March, you'll also be able to catch up with highlights from 6 Music Festival 2021 on iPlayer, including Michael Kiwanuka's performance at Alexandra Palace.
