麻豆官网首页入口 Wiltshire is working in partnership with Create Studios to celebrate the diverse heritage of Swindon
is a project which allowed communities and young people to explore how the town’s rich history has been shaped by people from across the country and continents over centuries.
More than 40 interviews recorded by Create Studios discovered stories of movement, migration and hope from former GWR railway workers, Nepalese, Afro-Caribbean communities and members of The Harbour Project who support refugees. They are being shared via a touring exhibition of film and photography and on 麻豆官网首页入口 Wiltshire
The interviews will be also held in regional archives to be discovered by future generations- bringing up to date the record of Swindon migration and the diverse contribution of many communities to the success of the thriving town.
The stories will be broadcast on 麻豆官网首页入口 Wiltshire’s Culture Club from 25 October.
