Five of the world's greatest Tribute acts go head to head in this Christmas special hosted by Paddy McGuinness. The five acts pay tribute to music legends Michael Buble, Michael Jackson, John Lennon, Kylie Minogue and Bruce Springsteen.

Each performer will sing an iconic Christmas hit made famous by their musical idol, before the studio audience choose their favourite three to perform again. This time they pull out all the stops with a very special collaboration, as they are joined on stage by another tribute artist paying homage to an iconic music legend.

After the duets round the studio audience vote again for their favourite act of the night, and that performer is crowned 'Even Better Than The Real Thing.’

The five acts each perform one of the most iconic songs originally made famous by their artist. After all five have performed, we will play a short recap of each performance and then our studio audience will vote for their favourite on individual wireless keypads. The three acts with the most votes are then revealed. These will then go on to perform again.

In this duet round, our Tributes will pull out all the stops with a very special collaboration. Our three remaining competing Tributes will each perform again, joined on stage by another Tribute from our fifteen other acts.

After the duets round, the studio audience will vote again for their favourite act of the night, based on both the solo and duet performances. The performer with the most votes is crowned ‘Even Better Than The Real Thing.’

It is the studio audience’s votes alone which decide which act will ultimately win the contest.

Once the first stage of votes have been counted the top 3 acts are announced (i.e those who gain the most votes from the studio audience) and the bottom 2 acts take no further part.

The top 3 then perform another song, this time a duet with one of the members of the ensemble for a ‘never seen before’ collaboration.

Once all the top 3 have performed their duet, the studio audience are again invited to vote for their favourite act. The vote is reset and all the top 3 performers start at zero. The audience will vote on both solo and duet performances.

Once the votes have been counted, the winner of ‘Even Better Than The Real Thing’ is announced.

As above, the studio audience alone will decide the winner of the show by way of two separate votes. Each general public member of the audience will receive a keypad on which to register their votes. Invited production guests of the tribute acts including family, friends, colleagues and fans are not eligible to vote, neither are 麻豆官网首页入口 staff.
