To coincide with the television broadcast, the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú has published a free interactive ebook featuring extra unseen and uncut interviews with some of the final remaining survivors of D-Day. D-Day’s Last Heroes: In Their Own Words is available via the iBookstore from Sunday 1st June. This interactive ebook is a downloadable format containing over 40 videos and text that is being trialled by the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú as a new way of presenting content.

What is an interactive ebook?

An interactive multimedia digital book designed to be viewed in this instance on Android Tablets, Apple iPads, and Kindle Fire HD tablets and it can also be viewed on Mac computers with OS X Mavericks.

How can I download it?

  • If you are an Apple user you can login information. It can be done directly on your device or via the iTunes desktop application (version 11.1.3 or later is required).
  • If you are a Kindle Fire user you can (Kindle Fire HD tablets and up)
