Today Puzzle #571

Puzzle No. 571 – Thursday 19 September

The presenters of Today were asked to share their favourite numerical fact about John, but something went wrong with their replies. What is X in the following statements?

Justin says John has interviewed X British Prime Ministers.

Mishal thinks John’s favourite prime number is also the smallest double digit prime... 'X'.

Martha reckons that if you add 10 to the number of times John’s met the Rolling Stones at Glastonbury, you get X.

And Nick did some sums and worked out that John has been a presenter of Today for almost 3X years.

So what is X?

Today’s #PuzzleForToday has been set by Dr Nicos Georgiou, a senior mathematics lecturer from the University of Sussex, and the Today Programme team.
