Charles Chilton - The Time of My Life

A 麻豆官网首页入口 staff member for 46 years, Chilton was well known to radio audiences all over the world for his musical and historical documentary programmes - numbering well over 150.

In 1972 he guested on The Time of My Life to talk about his London childhood, which began and ended with a great world war. In the London borough of St Pancras, his family experienced unemployment, cold and hunger. In spite of challenging times, including the death of his mother when he was five, Chilton reveals how he experienced the time of his life during the 1920s and 30s.
