Why are so many of our young people either not in work, training or education?

35,000 of them are in effect doing nothing and, according to a report by the London school of Economics, they're costing the Scottish economy 拢1.7bn a year. So who's responsible for this wasted potential? Is it the parents not instilling their children with a strong work ethic? Perhaps our schools are failing to motivate children properly and provide them with the skills they need? Have your children struggled to find work or decent training?
