GROW - Greyfriars Recycling of Wood - is a small enterprise emerging from Greyfriars Kirk, and designed to teach woodworking skills, using old church pews and other donated timber. It's just one of several creative initiatives building self-esteem, relationships and community, and giving vulnerable people the skills and confidence to rebuild their lives. Other ventures include a herb garden, bakery and textiles workshop where trust and hope grow alongside the fabrics and plants.
