Eileen's usual bustle threatens to backfire when she decides to take matters in her own hands, putting family and friends at risk - is she getting in too deep?

Eileen is still raging at being turfed out of her house and as usual, she's taking it upon herself to sort everything out. But things quickly start to go wrong when Raymond admits that Sean is bleeding him dry and there's no money to pay for Stuart's nursery fees or anything else for that matter. Furious at Sean's gall and Raymond's lack of backbone, Eileen decides to step up to the plate and take action. Spotting an opportunity, Eileen ropes a reluctant Stevie into a makeshift sting operation. Stevie will buy drugs, Eileen will plant them on Sean and then after he's arrested Eileen will protect Stevie from the heat. Poor Stevie is unhappy with this plan but is guilt-tripped into helping for Raymond's sake. Meanwhile, Eileen spots another problem that needs to be solved when she finds that Liz has hurt her wrist. Insistent that she gets treatment right away, she marches Liz and Malcolm to the Health Centre only to be referred to the hospital. As Operation Let's-Frame-Sean approaches, Eileen finds herself torn between sorting out her family or the Sean problem, and opts to stay at the hospital for as long as Liz is kept in. Meanwhile, Stevie heads to the rendezvous point to buy the drugs, unaware that Murray has called the police to sort out the hoodie that seem to be threatening his beloved car. When the cops arrive, they find Stevie in the Pend with drugs and promptly arrest him for dealing. Back in the last place he wanted to be, Stevie stews in a prison cell but can't tell the truth without involving Eileen or risking repercussions from Sean. Trapped, he throws himself to the dogs and claims he was buying drugs for consumption again. Back at the hospital, Liz is being kept in overnight and Eileen is bringing a disgruntled Malcolm home when Nicole runs to Eileen to tell her that Stevie's been arrested. Eileen struggles to maintain control over everything on her plate and nearly breaks down in fury at Raymond and Gina. Heading to the Tall Ship flat, she is terrified by the sight of Sean sitting in her old home. She's severely shaken when he threatens her and warns that if Raymond had anything to do with trying to set him up, it might just come back on wee Stuart. Rushing to the police station to reason with Will, Eileen is horrified to discover she has absolutely no clout in this situation and can't help Stevie at all. That night she breaks down quietly in tears. The next day when Stevie is released, he demands that she tell Raymond the truth so that Raymond doesn't think he's a dealer. Exploding at her, Raymond can't believe that she has been so stupid and is mortified when Sean demands that Stevie be fired. Weighed down with guilt, Eileen feels even worse when she realises that she's forgotten about keeping her promise to be with Liz at the hospital when she gets her test results. Malcolm is disappointed. Having let down everyone she cares about, Eileen admits to Liz that she has to sort out her priorities.

Leyla hasn't touched a drop in a week and confides in Dan that she's feeling quietly confident but secretly she's still burning with shame after her public meltdown, and has been hiding herself from the world. While Miriam continues to make disparaging comments and the whole community tiptoes around her, Leyla heads to her first AA meeting desperately trying to pretend none of it happened. When Dan tells her that he'll soon be leaving to work abroad, Leyla is devastated. How will she stay off the drink without him? After Dan helps her realise she has to do this for herself, Leyla fights the temptation to drink and finally admits she's an alcoholic.

Robbie is panicking when he receives a letter from the Inland Revenue that he can't make head nor tail off. He tries to sort it out like a professional but fails spectacularly. Guilty, he runs off to find Will, but Will is distracted by work. Robbie turns to a reluctant Deek who helps out despite his worries about what Will might think.
