Robbie's paranoia uncovers some uncomfortable secrets. Murray's decision makes more trouble for Raymond. Big Bob's actions leave Tattie questioning their marriage.

Robbie is shaken by a break-in at his flat. As he attempts to contact Will (on a work trip in Manchester) without luck, Deek arrives, concerned about his pal. Robbie admits his reliance on Will in times like these - he doesn't really know what to do. As Deek steps in to help, Robbie is starting to get paranoid. In the clear up, Robbie finds Will's mobile in the flat, left behind. He's shocked to see a number of missed calls from a mystery man - Edward. Immediately suspicious and despite Deek's attempts to distract him, Robbie gets more upset as his suspicions start to build. Worried, he even calls DCI Donald about Will's whereabouts. Robbie then comes across a locked drawer - Will's locked drawer. In a fit of paranoia Robbie smashes it apart with a hammer, finding an address book, and Edward's address. Is Will having an affair? Only Deek's calming words persuade Robbie to return to work . But nothing can allay his worries, and soon Robbie is storming off in the direction of Edward's house...But Robbie's in for a surprise when he comes face-to-face with Edward -he's actually Will's dad. And worse still...he's harbouring massive homophobic tendencies which leave Robbie shocked and riled. Returning to work, Robbie just can't forget what he's heard, and calls Edward to have it out, only to discover during the argument that not only is Will's dad a cold-hearted man, his mum died when he was younger. Has he made things even worse?

Meanwhile, an unsuspecting Will visits Edward ahead of a pre-organised cemetery visit, but is shocked to find his father livid at Robbie's impromptu visit. Nothing Will says can calm him down - their relationship deteriorates further. When he returns to the flat, Robbie neglects to admit what he's done, leaving Will fuming. Will confronts Robbie about Edward and in the heat of the ensuing argument, Will punches Robbie in the stomach. Shocked, Robbie demands the shaken Will leave. Robbie leaves the flat too, only to be discovered by Deek. In denial, Robbie refuses to tell Deek what's happened.

Will returns to the flat full of remorse, but offers to leave to make things easier. Robbie accuses him of trying to run away from the problem, but insists it's not Will's fault, and blames his father's attitudes for repressing his emotions. The pair finally talk about Will's past, but without ever getting to the bottom of the punch. The couple make up, but how long can this tenuous union last?

After the shock sacking of Stevie, Sean is still tormenting Raymond. When Murray decides to sell his car, Raymond offers nothing but encouragement, even persuading Murray to push up the price in a bidding war. But Sean has noticed this friendship connection, and inevitably has his evil hand in events. As the mystery buyer offers to pay over the odds for Murray's motor, Sean heads for Raymond and the pub safe - he's the mystery buyer, and guess who's giving him the money for it? Raymond. Short of money in the safe, Raymondo has to dip into the till takings to make up the total for a demanding Sean. He watches miserable as Sean hands over his money to his oblivious best pal. Can the humiliation get any worse?

A nervous Christina awaits the results of her Highers, and the family are rallying around her. Proud parents Tatiana and Big Bob are just as bad - even Molly can't help but be excited about what might be. Christina decides she'll get her results alongside best friend Nicole as the girls share their worries. Away from Christina's exams, things between Tattie and Big Bob are tense, and even talk about having enough savings for a holiday can't seem to brighten the mood. In truth, Big Bob is terrified at the prospect of a hot beach holiday, and finds solace in Iona's gift of a cheese toastie. When Tattie suggests buying a present to celebrate Christina's good results, Big Bob goes one step further, dipping into the holiday savings for a fancy new and unnecessary laptop. Feeling sabotaged, Tattie confronts Big Bob - does he no longer care about their marriage? As Big Bob tries to make excuses, it becomes clear that Tattie is beginning to rethink their future.
