Episode 2 of 4

A year in the life of the Gower Peninsula. A Gower man's business is under threat, a councillor takes some flak on the doorsteps and a surfer is disappointed at a major event.

The wild beaches of the Gower Peninsula are a magnet for over three million tourists a year. Only minutes from the industry of Swansea and Port Talbot, Gower is still a secret and private place the locals like to keep to themselves. This series witnesses a year in the life of Gower and some of the people whose families have been there for generations.

In episode two, Ian Williams at the Oxwich Bay Hotel has been battling with the Gower Society and Swansea City planners for four years to keep his marquee up year round. He says if they take the marquee away, they will take away thirty years of his life and his business. Penclawdd butcher and independent councillor Paul Tucker is getting flak on the doorsteps as he canvasses for the next election, and young surfer Milly has a disappointment at one of her first major events. Nicky and Eddie Beynon are sheep farming the traditional way - against an incredible backdrop of the Worm's Head. But there's a threat to their flock.
