To celebrate 25 years of Red Nose Day, Aled Jones is joined by Tim Vine to launch the Songs of Praise Hymnathon Challenge. Queen of bake-offs Mary Berry goes behind the scenes at a Wolverhampton food project.聽 Charity founders Jessie Joe Jacobs of A Way Out and Mary Mosinghi of Africare describe how Comic Relief鈥檚 funding has changed lives at home and abroad.聽 Hymns come from around the UK including Holmfirth in West Yorkshire, and Birmingham Town Hall. There鈥檚 a brand new performance from singer-songwriter Pete James with his own song Jesus Loves Me.
Songs of Praise Hymnathon
Stand-up comedian Tim Vine joins forces with Aled Jones and Songs of Praise鈥檚 Senior School Choir of the Year at St George鈥檚 College, Weybridge. Together they launch the Hymnathon Challenge to raise funds for 2013 Red Nose Day.

MARY BERRY
The star of the Great British Bake Off, The Mary Berry Story and The Great Comic Relief Bake Off聽 - visits The Good Shepherd Project in Wolverhampton. With the help of Comic Relief, Brother Stephen Brennan and volunteers offer free food to anyone who asks for it.聽 Mary, who is a Christian and says she grew up learning 鈥渢o serve our neighbours鈥�, joins the team for a day.
MARY MOSINGHI 鈥� Giving back to her homeland
Mary moved to the UK in the late 1980s to escape unrest in Uganda which killed her father and brother. Motivated by her faith, she founded Africare to provide help to Ugandan villagers whose lives were torn apart by HIV and Aids. Eight years later, and with Comic Relief鈥檚 backing, Mary has seen the lives of hundreds of adults and children transformed.
JESSIE JOE JACOBS 鈥� One person鈥檚 vision changing thousands of lives
Teenage life left Jessie in a relationship with a drug addict. After a fresh experience of Christian faith, she found a way out. But struck by the similar circumstances of other women, she set up her own charity in Stockton-on-Tees. Comic Relief was her first funder ten years ago, and A Way Out has now helped rescue around 5,000 women from addiction, prostitution and domestic abuse.
TIM VINE 鈥� Laughter is a gift from God
Never short of a one-liner or two, award-winning comedian Tim tells Aled how belief in God inspires him to entertain others and make them laugh. He says, 鈥渓aughter is a gift from God. There鈥檚 nothing you can think of about laughter that鈥檚 bad, can you?鈥�. He agrees that faith and comedy can go hand in hand, and 鈥渢hey can go skipping down a lane together.鈥�
