Ian has the weight of the world on his shoulders when he sees the state of his new restaurant, but will he find a way out of trouble? Kat's goodwill gets thrown back in her face.

Ian’s builders leave when he’s unable to pay them an extra £3000. Ian hides his troubles from Lucy. Janine refuses to lend Ian more money and threatens to withdraw her investment completely. Ian can’t find a new builder. Jean helps Ian clear rubble from the restaurant and finds a lock box. It’s Derek’s; Ian finds family photos, a letter from David to Carol and an envelope of cash inside. Lucy visits the site and tells Ian she’s proud of him. Although torn when he sees Alice, Ian calls the builders - they can start work again on Monday.

Kat’s annoyed that Roxy told Janine she and Michael were together. Amy’s unsettled, Kat reassures her that the bad man’s gone.
