Tim is surprised with some of his findings as he traces his family roots and weaves his way through the history of Ulster.

He said: 鈥淚 had great fun working on these programmes, meeting lots of interesting people and finding out some history I knew nothing about.听 And I am happy that I am at least a wee bit Ulster Scot which is just as well really otherwise the programme would have been ruined. I鈥檝e been known to take the hand out of the Ulster Scots language but as viewers will see one true speaker puts me right.鈥

Among the well-known landmarks visited by Tim during his journey are Carrickfergus and its castle, Bangor Abbey and Dunluce Castle.
