Pat O’Loughlin Marathon Man
There's a man in Castlederg who's one of only 20 people in the world to have run every Dublin marathon since it started in 1980 plus 27 more on top of that. Pat O'Loughlin is never happier than when he's running and he chats to YPAM reporter Helen Mark whilst on the go!
Ballynahinch Island Town
Ballynahinch is an important market town in the middle of County Down, a place that got going in the mid-17th century when George Rawdon bought the land from Patrick McCartan. And now this history is told in a new book, DVD and exhibition in the museum in Downpatrick. Danielle Smyth from the museum was involved in this major project right from the start as was local man Patsy Toman and Anne Marie visits them on the bustling Church Street.Â
The book is called Ballynahinch, Island Town - it's free and you can get copies at in Downpatrick - and the exhibition continues there as well.Â
