The starts about 10,000 years ago when the ice age began to disappear leaving Lagan Valley pretty much in the shape it's in today.聽 The story of the years between then and now is being told in a new exhibition at the Falls Road Library.聽 Belfast Civic Trust Member Fergus Hanna Bell had more than a hand in pulling it altogether.

At Kilskeery County Tyrone there was once a major railway junction which networked trains to places like Omagh, Enniskillen, Fintona and Bundoran.聽 The line closed in 1957 and so it's all the more incredible that a signal cabin from that Bundoran Junction has just been discovered in an Orchard in Ballinamallard Co. Fermanagh. Railway enthusiast from Enniskillen, Selwyn Johnston is delighted as is David Crone from the Downpatrick and County Down Railway.聽

Armagh man Stephen Gallagher has been involved in the opening stages of the prestigious race which is happening from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th May this year.聽 The route goes through Antrim, Ballymena, Bushmills, the Causeway Coast from Cushendall to Larne, Whitehead, Carrickfergus and then from Armagh to Dublin City Centre.
