Nairobi: Am Baile Fiadhaich/Wild Nairobi

Documentary examining Nairobi Nairobi, a city where the untamed wilderness and human civilization are closely intertwined.

'S e Nairobi am baile is fiadhaiche ann an Afraga. Chan eil 脿ite eile far a bheil f脿sach fiadhaich agus 脿iteachan-fuirich aig daoine cho dl霉th air a ch猫ile. Chan e s矛th a tha an c貌mhnaidh a' riaghladh eadar n脿dar agus am baile - aig amannan, bidh leapardan a' tighinn a gh脿rraidhean agus a' marbhadh pheataichean; bidh le貌mhainn a' dol air chall am measg nan taighean, agus bidh
hyenathan a' d猫anamh sgrios ann an seadaichean nan gobhar.

Tha f脿sach fada is farsaing na laigh air taobh a-muigh chr矛ochan baile Nairobi. Tha feansa a' d矛on muinntir a' bhaile bho na beathaichean, agus a' d矛on nam beathaichean bho na daoine. Ach, tha tuill ann an 脿iteachan, agus uaireannan, gabhaidh na beathaichean cuairt dhan bhaile. Tha raonadairean Seirbheis Fiadh-bheathaichean Kenya air leth trang a' d猫iligeadh ri m貌ran de dhiofar shuidheachaidhean nan d霉thaich.

Nairobi is Africa's wildest city. Nowhere else are the untamed wilderness and human civilization more closely intertwined. Nature and city do not always coexist peacefully: Leopards invade gardens and kill pet dogs, lions get lost between rows of houses, and hyenas raid goat barns at night. A vast wilderness lies just outside Nairobi's city limits.

A fence protects city residents from the wild animals and vice versa. But there are gaps, and sometimes the animals are venturesome. The rangers of the Kenya Wildlife Service have their hands full cleaning up one disastrous situation after another.
