David Grant and Connie Fisher celebrate all things Scottish as they climb the Forth Road Bridge. With music from Dunfermline Abbey and Dunblane Cathedral.
It's all things Scottish as the Scotland celebrates one of its most important years. Marking its 50th anniversary, David and Connie face climbing the mighty Forth Road Bridge just outside Edinburgh. Connie gives the bagpipes her best blows, and there is music from Dunfermline Abbey, Dunblane Cathedral and beyond.

Gordon Findlater
Gordon lives in Dunfermline and cycles over the bridge every day to get to work in Edinburgh as Professor of Anatomy at the University. He's clocked up around 5000 miles cycling the bridge so far. He lends David a bike and they cycle the bridge together. Gordon explains how the daily journey helps him reflect on life's big questions, and also tells David how he hold the record for The Bridge Cross, a fundraiser for Christian Aid that takes place on the bridge every year.

The Corr Family
Sam, Martin, Charlotte, Sophie and Aimee are a Catholic family from Essex. Earlier this year they responded to our appeal for a family to take part in some of our programmes over the Summer. Songs of Praise have set them a series of challenges to explore how their Christian faith is woven into their lives. This week they've got just a couple of hours to throw a Scottish themed party for the local South East Essex Scottish Society.
