Live-action comedy series introducing Titch and Ted as they learn about geometry on their day out at the beach. The episode is packed full of learning material and humour, as Titch and Uncle Ted get themselves into all sorts of funny scrapes trying to keep their boss Mr Pie happy. Titch guides Ted to the beach using careful instructions. Once he finally gets there, he reveals that far from a relaxing day out at the beach, him and Ted must work at Mr Pie's sweet stall for the day. That doesn't mean geometry lessons have to end though - there's all the different shaped sweets and jars to play around with.

Titch teaches Ted about the sides of 2D shapes so they can tidy up Mr Pie's sweet stall. Together, they sort squares, triangles, circles and ovals. Ted is getting more and more worried about not being able to teach Titch geometry, but Miss Dotty has a ditty to make him feel better. Titch and Ted decide to make sandcastles. Ted wants to tell Titch that he doesn't know anything about geometry, but just as he begins she points out all the shapes they have learnt about at the beach. Ted makes a cube-shaped sandcastle and Titch explains how many faces it has. Then Ted counts the edges of the cube. Next, they count the faces of a pyramid-shaped sandcastle. Mr Pie is rather cross when he discovers that they are not selling sweets at the stall, but Miss Dotty comes to the rescue.

Ted must learn about symmetry and the properties of a rectangle when he is sent on a mission to buy a lolly for Miss Dotty. Titch manages to sell all the sweets at the stall, and Ted sets off to take the earnings to Mr Pie. Titch gives him some clear directions using a map and teaches him about making clockwise turns. Titch and Ted have had a lovely day at the beach, solving problems with 2D and 3D shapes and using the vocabulary of directions, recapping all the learning in episodes one to five, covering the topics of 2D and 3D shapes, position and movement, angles, coordinates and maps.
