Episode 1
Parents keep an eye on their unsuspecting children's holidays. In Bulgaria, Kirsty wants to have the teenage holiday she feels she missed out on, whilst Chloe can't wait to party.
Our unsuspecting young people head to Sunny Beach, Bulgaria's most popular resort, where thousands of teenagers party hard each year. Little do they know that their parents will be following them, watching their every move.
In Bracknell, 24-year-old care worker Kirsty lives at home with mum Karen. Six years ago Kirsty lost her arm in a life-changing accident and now she wants the fun teenage holiday she missed out on. Kirsty worries about being stared at in public, but wants to get out of her comfort zone on this holiday and is bringing her mate James, who gives her all the encouragement she needs. Mum is not sure Kirsty will cope and so will be following her daughter out there to secretly spy.
In North Shields, 19-year-old ice skater Chloe lives with her mum Liz, but her love of ice skating is at risk of being surpassed by her love of partying, drinking and boys. Chloe trains hard for competitions under the watchful eyes of her mum, who is worried that her drunken antics might end in an injury. She's secretly following Chloe and friend Beth on holiday to see how her daughter behaves.
It's Chloe's first night and after only one hour she gets completely wasted and goes missing. She is found picking a fight with a plant, so it's home time for the North Shields girls. Kirsty hits the shots, but ends the evening on a high.
As the week goes on Kirsty pushes her boundaries and finds a confidence she never knew she had, but for her mum and nan, watching the binge drinking, sexy games and pulling strangers in nightclubs leaves them shocked. Chloe keeps getting so plastered that she's falling over and Beth has to do all she can to keep her friend in one piece. Her drunken disregard for her own safety has her mum speechless.
How will Kirsty and Chloe react when they find out their family has been having sneaky peeks at their first taste of freedom?
