Episode 2
Parents keep an eye on their unsuspecting children's holidays. Two twentysomethings head to Malia on Crete, where thousands of Brits flock to party all night long.
Two twentysomethings head to Malia, on the Greek island of Crete, where thousands of Brits flock to party all night long.
Twenty-year-old Reece lives in north London with his dad David. He wants to follow his dream of showbiz stardom in Los Angeles, but his dad's worried about whether he can stand on his own two feet and wants to follow him on this lads' holiday to see how he copes on his own.
Reece is heading to Malia with friends Luke and Alex, all determined to party hard. But Reece struggles with alcohol and partying for him usually involves getting on the 'chunder cart' before the night is over.
At home in Northampton, 22-year-old electrician Karl is waited on hand and foot by his family, and his parents can't imagine their 'pampered prince' managing without them. So they are tagging along to see how their boy copes while he is larging it up with mates Lewis and Rory.
Reece's first night sees him sinking cocktails, and then vomiting in a gutter. But that doesn't stop him from necking more booze, and throwing up again. Karl and his mates get off to a slower start when Karl leaves their booze on the plane. But they quickly play catch up, downing a dozen shots in under an hour, which keeps them going until 5am.
As the holiday progresses, Karl's mum watches with increasing concern as her son shows off his reckless side. Meanwhile, David sees Reece make the most of the temptations and opportunities Malia has to offer. But how will the kids react when they find out their parents have been there all along?
