Charity Friends of Cathedral Music

David Grant meets young singers and leaders of the Schools Singing Programme of Leeds Cathedral, funded by national charity Friends of Cathedral Music. Unlike many cathedrals, Leeds recruits its choristers through visits to local catholic primary schools, reaching 3,000 children a week from all walks of life. Those who go on to join one of the diocese's 55 choirs can end up leading the worship in Leeds Cathedral.
