Mary Anne celebrates the International Day of Friendship with Eric Pulido of Midlake and Banquet!

John Grant had almost given up on music until he met Midlake. The Texan folk-rockers saw the disillusioned former frontman of The Czars live, fell in love with his music, invited him on tour and then persuaded him to make a solo album at their own Denton studio. Their support and friendship led to the release of John's excellent album, Queen of Denmark. And for that we are truly grateful.
