Ryanair is cancelling around 40-50 flights every day for up to 6 weeks. It could affect up to 400,000 passengers. The company says it's "messed up" the planning of pilot holidays, but other reports suggest Ryanair has lost 140 pilots to a rival, Norwegian Air.

It's not just Ryanair who have let passengers down recently. Earlier this year British Airways suffered a computer glitch meaning hundreds of flights were cancelled. Some customers are still waiting for compensation.
