Pye Radio
Do you remember the Pye logo? In 1947 Corran Works opened at the harbour in Larne, manufacturing radio sets and parts. By 1964Â over 1200 people were employed in the factory. But due to cheap foreign imports, sales dropped and the factory closed in 1965. Larne museum and the Pye History Trust want to change that.Â
The Millennium Babes
Some of the many great stories featured in this latest publication: ‘Enniskillen In The Rare Ould Times’ has been launched. And Anne Marie talks to one of the authors and contributing writers about the fourth book and their stories from 1930.Â
Ghosts in the Glens Festival
In the lead up to Halloween the festival is taking place this weekend bringing you stories with a distinct spooky flavour. The festival theme is about ghosts, fairies and banshees at places in Cushendall, Rathlin, Ballycastle, Carnlough, Glenariffe and Cushendun. All ages are welcome.Â
