A convicted killer is at large after failing to return to Maghaberry Prison.

A convicted killer is "at large" after failing to return to Maghaberry Prison. Fifty-six-year-old John Clifford was sentenced in the late 80s for murdering his young niece, as well as others crimes of cruelty to children and indecent assault. He was given leave to attend an appointment, but failed to return on Sunday evening. Clifford is 5ft 7" with fair hair, and when he went missing he was wearing a beanie type hat, a heavy black coat, grey trousers and black dress shoes. He has a tattoo of a bird on his right hand and a tattoo of a flower on his lower right arm.
